Please be informed that pursuant to Section 9 (g) of Republic Act No. 9298, otherwise known as the “Philippine Accountancy Act of 2004,” the Professional Regulatory Board of Accountancy (PRB-ACC) hereby promulgates, with the approval of the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), Resolution No. 57, Series of 2023 (BOA Resolution 57), Annex A, 2023 Revised Rules and Regulations on the Conduct of an Oversight into the Quality of Audits of Financial Statements and Operations of CPA Practitioners and Designation of the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) as the Implementing Arm of the Quality Assurance Review (QAR) Program, to carry out effectively the conduct of oversight into the quality of audits of financial statements of Firms/CPA Practitioners.
BOA Resolution 57 requires an annual registration in the QAR Program. You are advised that the 2025 annual registration in the QAR Program shall be from January 1, 2025 to March 31, 2025.
